These Riders Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the relationship between TripChow and its delivery personnel ("Riders"). By joining TripChow as a rider, you agree to the terms outlined herein.
1. Employment and Payment
- Riders are employed by TripChow and will receive a fixed monthly salary in addition to commissions for each completed delivery.
- Commissions will be calculated based on the number of completed deliveries as agreed in the Rider Agreement.
- Salaries and commissions will be paid monthly to the rider’s designated bank account.
2. Rider Eligibility
- Riders must possess a valid government-issued ID, a rider’s permit, and all necessary licenses required to operate legally.
- Riders are required to undergo training provided by TripChow before commencing deliveries.
3. Delivery Responsibilities
- Riders must ensure timely and safe delivery of all orders assigned to them.
- Proper handling of orders, including protecting food from damage, contamination, or spillage, is mandatory.
- Riders must verify order details with vendors before pickup to ensure accuracy.
4. Conduct and Compliance
- Riders must maintain professional conduct when interacting with vendors, customers, and TripChow staff.
- Riders must comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations while on duty.
- Engaging in any form of harassment, fraud, or abusive behavior will result in immediate suspension or termination.
5. Equipment and Maintenance
- TripChow will provide branded delivery equipment such as bags, uniforms, or vehicles (if applicable), which must be maintained in good condition by the rider.
- Riders are responsible for the routine maintenance and care of any vehicles or equipment provided to them.
6. Performance Standards
- Riders must achieve timely deliveries within the timeframes set by TripChow for customer satisfaction.
- Consistently poor performance, delays, or order mishandling will result in reviews and possible disciplinary action.
7. Insurance and Liability
- Riders will be covered under TripChow’s delivery insurance for accidents or damages incurred while on duty, subject to the insurance policy’s terms and conditions.
- Riders must report any accidents, damages, or incidents immediately to TripChow management.
8. Termination and Dispute Resolution
- TripChow reserves the right to suspend or terminate a rider for breach of these terms, misconduct, or failure to meet performance standards.
- Disputes regarding commissions, payments, or employment terms can be addressed by contacting the TripChow support team. Unresolved disputes may proceed to mediation under Nigerian law.
9. Governing Law and Amendments
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
- Amendments: TripChow may update these Terms at any time. Riders will be notified of significant changes via email or platform alerts.
