Rewards in an app are only useful if you know the rules. How many points do you get? When do they arrive? How do you spend them? Does a referral code work for you and for your friend? Loyalty points
TripChow's app lets customers earn loyalty points on their orders and turn them into wallet credit. The rules below are how the app works today, and TripChow can change them.
- How you earn: points are earned on orders once they are delivered, and the more an order costs, the more points it earns. TripChow sets the earning rate, so the app is the place to check it.
- When they appear: after the order is delivered, not when you place it.
- How you use them: on the Loyalty Points screen you convert points into wallet credit, and you pay for orders from your wallet. The conversion rate and any minimum are set by TripChow and shown in the app.
- Do they expire? Points earned on orders can expire after a period set by TripChow. The Loyalty Points screen shows the expiry period.
- Can you combine points with promo codes? Points are not entered at checkout the way a code is. You convert them to wallet credit first, so a promo code and your points do not conflict.

A simple rule of thumb: check the rewards screen before you place a large order, so you know what is available.
Referral codes
Referral codes let one customer invite another. The app supports a referral code when a new person signs up, and the code can be checked. Referral rewards are running.
- How to share yours: open the Refer and Earn screen in the app, then copy your code or use Share Code to send it.
- What your friend gets: ₦200, paid after their first delivered order.
- What you get: ₦300, paid after your friend's first delivered order. The Refer and Earn screen shows the current amounts, which TripChow can change.
- Limits: you cannot refer yourself, and a reward is paid once per new customer, on that customer's first delivered order.
- Fair play: Referral programmes are for genuine new customers. Creating multiple accounts to claim rewards is against most programme rules, and referring yourself is not allowed.
Enter the code when you sign up, not afterwards.
Gift cards
In the app you can send a gift card from your wallet balance to another TripChow user or by a shareable link. When the recipient redeems it, the amount is added to their wallet, which they can spend on orders.

Promo codes and offers
Offers appear in the app from time to time. Read the conditions: some are only for first orders, some have a minimum spend or an end date. Do not rely on codes sent by strangers; see how to order food online safely.
A few honest cautions
- Rewards change. TripChow may update rules. The app is always the final word.
- Points are not cash. You convert them to wallet credit inside the app; there is no option to withdraw points as money.
- Keep your account secure. Anyone with your login can use your points.
