Event tickets in Yenagoa: how to buy them online and what to check

Buying a ticket used to mean finding the person who had them, arranging to meet, and hoping they were real. Increasingly you can buy tickets in an app, keep them on your phone and show them at the door.

TripChow's app includes event ticketing: you can browse upcoming events around Yenagoa, buy tickets in the app, and order food in the same place. This short guide explains how to do it, what to check before you pay and how to avoid the usual problems.

Finding events

Open the app and look for the events section. Each event shows its details: name, date, time, venue and ticket types.

Before you pick one, read the event card properly.

• Date and start time, and whether doors open earlier.
• Venue, with the address or a landmark.
• Ticket types, and what each includes.
• Who is organising it. A named, known organiser is a good sign.
• Any conditions: age limit, dress code, items not allowed.

Buying a ticket

The exact steps depend on the app version. In general:

1. Choose the event and the ticket type.
2. Choose how many. The app supports buying more than one ticket in a single purchase.
3. Check the total before you confirm.
4. Pay from your TripChow wallet. If your balance is short, the app shows the account details to transfer to, so you can top up and complete the purchase.
5. Look for your ticket in the app after payment. It appears as a QR code, one per ticket.

If you paid and cannot see your ticket, do not pay again. Contact support with your payment receipt.

What to check before you pay

• Buy in the app or from the organiser's official channel. A ticket bought from a stranger, or through a screenshot in a chat, may be fake or resold more than once.
• Remember that tickets are non-refundable. Be sure of the date, time and your plans before you pay.
• Check the event has not changed date or venue. Events sometimes move. If an event changes, ticket holders can be told by email, but check the event details in the app again before you go.
• Read the fees. All charges should be visible before you pay.

On the day

• Screenshots may not be enough. Open your ticket in the app so the organiser can scan it.
• Arrive early. Queues form, and doors do not always open on time.
• Bring identification if the event requires it.
• Charge your phone and turn up the screen brightness for scanning.

Food before or after the event
